Indian students must meet academic, language, and visa requirements to study in Ireland.

Academic Requirements

  • For undergraduate programs: 12th-grade certificate with minimum 60–70% (varies by university)

  • For postgraduate programs: A bachelor's degree with at least 60% aggregate

English Language Proficiency

Most Irish universities require one of the following:

  • IELTS: Minimum 6.0 – 6.5 bands

  • TOEFL iBT: 79 – 90

  • PTE Academic: 55 – 63

Some universities may waive this requirement if your previous education was in English.
